WAEE ROMANIAN WOMAN
An archaeological facial reconstruction of a 4th century woman from the Danube Delta, Romania. Created for the Woman at the Edge of Empire: Female Social identity in the Lower Danube Delta in the 4-6th Centuries AD and as a University of Southampton UG Dissertation.
The initial reconstruction (clay version below) was completed in 2019. The individual was later remastered in 2021, after the completion of formal anatomy and forensic art training.
More details on this project and individual to come as an academic paper is currently being developed.
