An archaeological facial reconstruction of a 4th century woman from the Danube Delta, Romania. Created for the Woman at the Edge of Empire: Female Social identity in the Lower Danube Delta in the 4-6th Centuries AD and as a University of Dundee MSc Forensic Art & Facial Identification thesis.

This project includes background research into the Roman occupation of the Ulmentum garrison, an osteological analysis of an individual excavated from the garrison, subsequent results from isotopic testing and a full facial reconstruction, with costuming and grave good fabrication.
